About the role Leadership: The Manager for this role is Lesley French.
Lesley is the Director of our Eastern Region for Solutions and has been leading a growing business for just over 4 years at Insight.
Lesley is a very highly regarded leader with a wealth of experience in Leadership and Sales Management in the Enterprise Software industry.
Her team is focused on delivering & implementing innovative Microsoft Solutions with Practice capabilities including Data & AI, Cloud Apps & Integration, Dynamics 365 & Power Platform, Cloud Platform and Managed Services, Strategy and Design, & PMO, across our Enterprise, Commercial and Public Sector clients.
Lesley is proud of the diverse range of innovative Microsoft engagements the team deliver daily and that we stand by our values as a priority.
As a Sales Specialist – Business Applications you are a customer-focused sales specialist with a deep domain expertise in the MSFT Business Applications Platform.
You will play a critical part in shaping and articulating solution narratives that align with our customers' business outcomes.
You will bring a combination of domain expertise, commercial insight, and storytelling ability to support pre-sales and sales activities and drive engagement across stakeholders.Along the way, you will get to:Partner with sales and delivery teams to develop compelling solution strategies that align with customer objectives and industry trendsLead customer discovery sessions and develop tailored solution recommendations across the relevant practiceLead the qualification of your relevant practice's opportunities to support bidnobid decisionsDevelop and deliver high-impact proposals, executive-ready presentations, and technical demonstrationsContribute to sales enablement through the creation and operationalisation of reusable assets, frameworks, and programsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical and commercial messaging across customer touchpointsMaintain visibility during the transition from pre-sales to delivery, ensuring smooth handovers and managing expectationsEngage the broader Microsoft and partner ecosystem to support co-selling, joint solutioning, and industry alignmentSupport go-to-market planning, adoption campaigns, and strategic initiativesRepresent the Business Applications Practice in enterprise-wide initiatives, regional planning forums, and cross-practice collaborationsContribute thought leadership content through events, storytelling, and the creation of scalable IPDrive and contribute to large major bids/RFP's/RFI's etcBe AmbITious: This opportunity is not just about what you do today but also about where you can go tomorrow.

We are looking for a Sales Specialist with the following capabilities:Proven experience in solution consulting, advisory in your relevant practice, the technology stack, or consulting environment.Deep expertise in Microsoft Business Applications (Dynamics 365 & Power Platform) full suite of offerings.Proven experience in your relevant practice go to market strategies and associated packaged offeringsStrong commercial acumen with the ability to influence pipeline performance and shape go-to-market strategiesExcellent communication skills with a focus on executive-ready narratives, solution proposals, and presentation deliveryDemonstrated ability to build rapport with senior stakeholders and align technical and business perspectivesExperience developing scalable enablement programs, tools, and sales frameworksCollaborative mindset with the ability to work across functions to deliver consistent messaging and customer experience What you can expectWe're legendary for taking care of you, your family and for helping you engage with your local community.
