We are looking to appoint a new National Construction & Delivery Manager to our team, reporting to the Head of Property, to be responsible for the leadership and delivery of new store construction, existing store refurbishments, design and store planning, and implementation of works including the development and resourcing of specific in-store rollouts.

In this role you will;
- Working close with the Property Development (Leasing) team r to deliver the Officeworks Property Strategy.
- Manage the Construction, Implementation and Store Planning functions within the Property Team including team development, people growth and building a positive and collaborative culture.
- Lead a high performing team of Project Managers (Construction and Implementation) and Store Planners.
- Drive and manage the development of new design concepts to deliver best experience. Focus on innovation to reduce expenditure and improve sustainability to align with Officeworks Planet Positive Plan
- Deliver the new store capital expenditure plan on time, Safely and to budget, in line with business expectations and strategies. Drive effective cost management and forward order management.
- Manage contracts and project sourcing ensuring the ongoing process of supply selection and equipment lead times are planned and can fulfil store projects in a timely manner. Focus on achieving best value and strive to reduce the cost of doing business.

- Proven experience in design, procurement, and contract management
- A sound knowledge of the Building Code of Australia and Standards
- Thorough understanding of managing overseas suppliers and international lead times
- Strong organisational and planning skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, influencing and interpersonal skills
