Overview
Communications and Stakeholder Engagement Advisor for Downer's JV on the Gold Coast, QLD. The opportunity involves delivering communications and stakeholder engagement for water and wastewater services under the Gold Coast Infrastructure Solutions (GCISolutions) joint venture between Ventia and Downer.
Responsibilities
Play a key role in project planning and construction meetings, ensuring stakeholder concerns are addressed early and effectively
Manage day-to-day stakeholder interactions, including enquiries, complaints, and access negotiations
Develop and implement community engagement plans, and manage proactive communications such as works notifications
Visit work sites and conduct desktop studies to assess potential community impacts
Attend and contribute to regular customer and community engagement team meetings
Maintain the program's stakeholder database and image library
Qualifications
Proven experience in infrastructure, water, or government projects is highly desirable
Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
IAP2 certification (International Association for Public Participation) is preferred but not essential
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Hold a valid C Class Driving License
Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management capabilities
