Information Security Expert
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Information Security Expert to join our organization's Technology team. The expert will support the Cyber Security Manager in day-to-day tasks toward safeguarding our energy assets and protecting critical data.
Key Responsibilities:
Support Cyber Security Manager: Assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of security strategies, protocols and incident response plans. Oversee physical and cybersecurity measures to protect infrastructure and data.
Security Engineering: Implement and manage security features within Microsoft suite of products (Microsoft 365; Entra ID; Intune; SharePoint; Purview; MS Windows) and Azure to ensure protection of data and secure management of identities and access. Design and implement security features within cloud & vendor technology solutions and in-house systems.
Security Advisor: Work with Technology teams to design and implement secure architectures and secure defaults. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security of critical energy infrastructure and operations.
Incident Response and Security Analysis: Monitor security systems, analyze events, assist in investigations, and respond to incidents when necessary. Identify and mitigate security misconfigurations, threats and vulnerabilities. Contribute to continuous improvement of security operations, vulnerability management and incident response capabilities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Experience with Microsoft suite of products, including Microsoft 365, Azure and Windows OS. Proven experience in security analyst activities, including monitoring and analysis of security events and incident response activities.
Understanding of networking (such as TCP/IP and firewalls, particularly Palo Alto). Understanding of secure architectures, DLP, and Identity and Access Management principles.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with IT and OT teams. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
