Lead Cyber Security Professional
We are seeking an experienced Lead Cyber Security Professional to help us protect our security maturity and manage cyber risks. This is a full-time, 2-year fixed term contract role.
Cyber Security Lead Job Description
- Develop and execute organisational-wide Cyber Security programs aimed at improving how we protect ourselves.
- Deliver targeted cyber security projects aiming to increase the Cyber Security maturity and manage Cyber risks across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide in-depth insight into technology options for achieving cyber security initiatives within budget constraints.
- Contribute to the design, plan, and establishment of TZV Cyber Security initiatives.
- Drive the delivery of the strategy for cyber security program, including technology uplift, controls, processes, skills development, business engagement, and services to internal lines of business.
- Actively manage cyber security partnerships across the business, ensuring strategic and compliance alignment with statutory, legal, regulatory, and internal obligations.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships and networks across emergency services sector, particularly in data and analytics space.
Requirements:
You must have:
- Background in Cyber Security uplift programs and experience in delivering collaborative solutions for mission-critical environments.
- Previous experience in technical security roles such as Network Security, Security Engineering, or Systems Engineering.
- Experience in implementation and transition management of large mission-critical data and information improvement outcomes within government organisations.
- Understanding of network security, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and web security.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
- Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Cyber Security, or related discipline, or demonstrated equivalent competency.
