Step into the shadows to see the light at Sydney's newest, oldest hotel and bar—Morris.Housed within a striking Italian renaissance building with palatial Art Deco sentiments; Morris has found new life as an evocative bar and boutique 82-room hotel. The hotel has an Italian Wine Bar with great food.

Located in close proximity to Central Station, Capitol Theatre, and World Square, Hotel Morris aims to inspire guests with a focus on creativity, history, and storytelling.

As the Hotel Morris Assistant Bar Manager, you will:

- Inspire and motivate a team of food & beverage professionals
- Look after the wine and cocktail service and stock management on daily basis.
- No job is too big or too small working within a small close-knit team.
- Maintenance of wine list including ordering, sourcing new wines in collaboration with the general manager and guest experience manager
- Beverage service in the venue and the training
- Continuously inventing process to improve service and efficiency of the bar and food and beverage
- Lead the stocktake process

About you:

- You are a great Leader, Energetic, enthusiastic, flexible with roster, agile, positive and have a great bunter - bucket loads of it
- Hold Valid RSA
- Passionate about learning about hotels
- Strong communication skills
- Obsession for providing the best guest experience
- Ability to work nights and weekends Where the action is at.
- Strong time management skills
- Love building the team

Pay: $74,000.00 per year
