What is KindyLinQ? KindyLinQ is an intergenerational facilitated early learning and development program for 3-year-old children and their parents/caregivers. KindyLinQ programs provide engaging early learning experiences for young children and targeted guidance for families to support their child's learning and development at home. What is the purpose of KindyLinQ? KindyLinQ aims to enhance parental understanding of the protective factors that enable children's learning and development to flourish. Through the modelling of positive interactions with children, KindyLinQ staff support families to build their understanding of child learning and development and the ways they can support this at home. KindyLinQ provides an opportunity for the host school to forge strong and supportive links between home, other local schools, early childhood services and the community. KindyLinQ is a strategy to support a 'soft' entry to kindergarten for families who may not yet have considered enrolling in a kindergarten program. The objectives of the KindyLinQ program are to:
- Enhance children's wellbeing prior to school
- Reduce developmental vulnerability across AEDC domains

- Connect families with early childhood education and care services and enrol in an approved kindergarten program
**About your RoleYou will have responsibility for the following**:
- Identify barriers to young children achieving outcomes and enable referral to appropriate support services.
- Maintain records of family contact on a daily basis.
- Support families to achieve early development, health and learning outcomes.
- Develop and monitor post program support as required to meet program performance criteria.
- Develop and foster relationships between the school, community and families.
- Conduct home visits with children and their families to advise and provide strategies for a more positive early childhood experience.
- Contribute as part of the professional team working with the school and the community and liaise with children, teachers, parents, early childhood services and other government departments.
- Inform and educate parents, community members and students on relevant issues that may impact family engagement in local early years services.
- Develop and implement programs to support early learning.
