This permanent full-time role, based in Brisbane, oversees the multi-billion-dollar Queensland Rail Capital Plan and contributes to the delivery of a single integrated transport network.
As Manager (Rail Capital), you\'ll manage the Rail Transport Service Contract (Rail TSC), lead a high-performing team, and provide expert advice to senior executives and the Minister.
Your work will impact infrastructure investment, service delivery, and strategic planning across Southeast Queensland\'s passenger rail network.

Responsibilities
Program management including annual program development activities and program oversight of the multi-billion-dollar Queensland Rail capital investment program (Capital Plan), and Infrastructure Services, under the Rail TSC.
Consult, collaborate, and negotiate with internal and external agencies and represent the department at forums related to the Rail TSC and the Capital Plan.
Provide advice to senior executives and the Minister, including preparing periodic Capital Plan and related program and/or project reports, briefing notes and general correspondence.
Proactively manage the resolution of issues, which may result in project variations or variations to the Rail TSC.
Skills and Qualifications
Ability to guide and support teams, foster collaboration and manage resources effectively.
Experience in managing contracts or programs, including planning, reporting or coordination.
Collaboration across different teams, organisations or communities.
Ability to deliver outcomes aligned with organisational objectives.
Sound judgement and the ability to understand and respond to different perspectives and context.
