Australian aviation is in the midst of the largest ramp up in history. Do you want to help us reconnect Australia with the world? Join our **Melbourne airport** team as a Marshaller in a **permanent full-time** position.

**So, what does a day in the life of a Marshaller look like?**
As a member of our airside team, this role will require you to work with the Driver to position the catering trucks to the aircraft and will have a strong focus on manual handling activities such as the loading and unloading of carts and equipment.

**In a nutshell, your main responsibilities are**:

- Marshall the Driver to position the truck to the aircraft in line with policies and procedures.
- Load and unload the trucks with carts, ovens and standard units.
- Prepare and pack catering equipment.
- Prepare, pack and check off on completed flight and deliveries at the kitchen production unit.
- Carry out basic serviceability and maintenance checks of vehicles and/or equipment.
- Perform general cleaning duties.
- Perform administrative documentation and reporting duties as required.
- Communicate in a professional and courteous manner with all stakeholders.
- Work in accordance with the Company's policy in relation to HALAL, HACCP, Food Safety and WHS.

**What do you need to be successful in securing this role?**
- Possession or ability to attain an Aviation Security Identification Card
- Flexibility in regard to working around flight schedules is essential (7 day per week operation)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- A satisfactory police record and criminal history check
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to perform frequent manual handling tasks
