**About the role**
As the Advisor, Campaigns you will contribute to and support highly visible, national social marketing campaigns that raise awareness, change behaviour, and engage the community to prevent violence against women and their children.

The campaigns will focus on two key audiences - Australian Young People and Australian Adults and will include:

- **Australian Young** **People** - continue and enhancing The Line campaign, a primary prevention behaviour change campaign targeting young people (14-20 years).
- **Australian Adults** - a new integrated campaign that builds on the insights from Change the Story, Doing Nothing Does Harm and No Excuse for Abuse.

The Advisor, Campaigns supports the end-to-end delivery of all campaign activity, including campaign strategy, creative development, media buy, content marketing and supporting communications and campaign evaluation. This role also assists with project and contract management activities associated with the delivery of campaigns.

Reporting to the Manager, Campaigns, the Advisor, Campaigns has a close working relationship with the campaigns team and with the cross-functional project team and is expected to develop excellent relationships internally across Our Watch, and with key external stakeholders, including federal and state government departments, sector organisations, campaign agencies and suppliers.

**About you**

**Qualifications and experience**
- Tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications or equivalent experience.
- Experience in implementing social marketing campaigns, or multi-channel communications or campaigns.
- Basic understanding or willingness to self-initiate development of intersectionality including awareness of systemic inequality, cultural and linguistic diversity across the Australian population, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, people with disability, LGBTIQA+ people, refugees and migrants.

**Child Safety**
- A working with children check is a mandatory requirement for this role. You will be required to secure this before you commence.

**Skills and expertise**
- Knowledge of campaign techniques, including creative development, concept testing, audience segmentation, media planning and buying, content marketing, campaign communications and evaluations.
- Understanding of key campaign metrics, such as social media engagement, website usage and analytics, audience engagement.
- Proven experience in building positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders and/or agencies/suppliers.

**Project management**
- Proven experience working on multiple projects at the same time to ensure projects are successfully delivered on time, to budget and with quality outputs/outcomes.
- Excellent time management, prioritisation and organisational skills, with the ability to work flexibly and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify gaps in information.
- Demonstrated experience working with project management systems and processes.

**Written and verbal communication**
- Excellent verbal communication skills including the ability to confidently liaise with a range of stakeholders, the ability to listen, understand and adapt and welcomes and provides constructive feedback.
- Excellent written communication skills including the ability to structure writing effectively, synthesise complex information to develop clear communications and the ability to write compelling, engaging and effective communications for a range of audiences and channels.
