**ABOUT THE ROLE**

In this pivotal role driving business and commercialisation efforts within our Carbon Solutions team, you'll leverage your profound commercial expertise and expansive strategic insights to contribute significantly to transactional activities in the carbon market.

As a key team member, you'll lead the development and execution of diverse transactions, encompassing commercial, project, joint venture, and M&A transactions, all intricately aligned with Origin's objectives in the carbon market.

**More about the role**:

- _Lead Transactional Development: _Spearhead the development and execution of transactions, ensuring a seamless alignment with Origin's carbon market objectives. This includes overseeing commercial, project, joint venture, and M&A transactions.
- _Strategic Relationship Building: _Identify and cultivate strategic relationships and opportunities within key markets and segments, with a particular focus on the agricultural sector and agribusinesses.
- _Negotiation Mastery: _Take charge of negotiation processes and lead commercial due diligence, ensuring thorough assessments and strategic alignment.
- _Cross-functional Collaboration: _Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including legal, tax, and technical teams. Foster a cohesive and collaborative approach to transaction execution.
- _Strategic Planning: _Develop and execute marketing and business development plans, exploring strategic partnering opportunities to further enhance Origin's position in the carbon market.
