Strong automotive knowledge and administration/IT skills are paramount for this role. You will have a customer service focus that ensures you are able to work with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders.

**About the role**

The role is an influential, stand-alone role in one of Serco's most interesting and unique work environments. You will be required to lead a team of Technical Support Officers and Camera Technicians, ensuring the team effectively and efficiently supports SERCOs delivery of the Mobile Road Safety Program. This includes management and maintenance of;
- the fleet of vehicles used for the delivery of Mobile Road Safety Camera sessions
- mobile speed camera technology and all associated equipment, and
- oversight of maintenance for seven Vehicle Storage Facilities, ensuring optimal building performance.

This is a busy and diverse role that requires balancing planned work with meeting the reactionary needs of the working environment. You will be supported by key leaders in the business and will be leading a small high-performing team.
- To be successful you will have:_
- Previous fleet, Automotive (mechanical, electrical, electronics) knowledge or exposure
- Experience in a customer focused, scheduling or coordination role
- Strong stakeholder and supplier relationship management skills
- IT Literate and working knowledge with Microsoft 365 suite (Word, Outlook, Excel etc), SAP
- A thorough understanding of fleet and asset management and associated preventative and maintenance requirements.
- Strong interpersonal skills with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong administration and organisational skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to work with tight deadlines and the ability to manage unforeseen workloads
- Build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders
- Ability to work within a high-volume environment with set deadlines/time frames
