The Magistrates' Court of Victoria (MCV) is a jurisdiction within the Court Services Victoria statutory authority, and has a long history of providing justice for the people of Victoria in metropolitan and regional courts across the state.
The Court determines in excess of 300,000 cases per annum at 51 venues, equating to approximately 90 per cent of all cases that come before Victorian courts each year. The Court aims to be an innovative, accessible and responsive court that provides quality services to the Victorian community.
About the role
The Learning and Development Consultant - CMS support (L&D CMS) role delivers systems training (CMS and Courtlink) to court personnel, both VPS and Judicial, across MCV over the life of the CMS project.
The L&D CMS Consultant is responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of training for court personnel after the CMS project hands over each module to the Learning and Development Unit. This role is integral to ensuring the successful implementation of the CMS.
About you
**Key accountabilities**:
- Ensure a high standard of quality is provided in the delivery of end-to-end training programs in the form of instructor-led training courses designed for Court personnel
- Provide regular feedback to the Senior Learning and Development Consultant - CMS support, on improving participation of staff in training when required, flagging any issues to be addressed
- Support Court learners through regular contact as required, monitoring progress to ensure learning is supported and new knowledge and skills are being applied on-the-job
- Conduct follow up sessions and one-on-one coaching as required
- Monitor and evaluate training activities and program effectiveness through accurate and adequate record keeping
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders
- Provide support to the Learning and Development Unit as required.
