This role is working within Club Marine Insurance, which is underwritten by Allianz. Club Marine Insurance is proud to be a supporter of Australian boaters. Reporting to the Manager National Claims Service, the Learning and Development (L&D) Consultant will be responsible for delivering learning initiatives and solutions to develop and lift the capability of our people in Club Marine, partnering and consulting with stakeholders to design and deliver fit for purpose learning outcomes which are aligned with business needs and the organisational learning culture.

**Responsibilities of the role**:

- Partner with stakeholders to understand business objectives and outcomes and influence alignment to learning strategy and culture across a portfolio of business as usual initiatives, change plans, projects and budgets.
- Consult to gather requirements and assess viability of potential learning solutions to support training plans.
- Advise and design learning strategies and learner focussed journeys to deliver business outcomes and develop the capability of our employees.
- Identify opportunities to align projects and training solutions to deliver integrated capability outcomes.
- Measure learning and development initiatives and demonstrate return on investment.
- Contribute to regular reporting to management to demonstrate value of learning.
- Interpret and communicate the importance of compliance with all company policies and procedures through learning solutions.
- Contribute to professional standards through strong governance and learning requirements to fulfil regulatory and compliance needs.

**To be successful in the role**:

- You'll require strong general Insurance experience in a large matrixed, heavily regulated and customer focused organisation - with some prior exposure to L&D.
- Proven ability to comfortably move between strategy and operational execution.
- Some experience in successfully delivering a range of L&D solutions with solid presentation skills & ability to present to small groups
- Adept at proactively building and maintaining professional relationships and networks to enhance industry positioning, exchange knowledge and elicit beneficial outcomes.
- Adaptability, flexibility and preparedness to work in a dynamic environment responding to emerging risks, project challenges and achieve deadlines.
- Ability to interpret and analyse complex information, extract meaningful insights and evaluate options for decision making
