**The role**
This role focuses on managing formal intervention processes to support NSW councils in meeting their compliance obligations. You'll assess issues, provide sound legislative advice, and ensure intervention actions align with policy and regulations. Clear communication is essential as you engage with councils and stakeholders, setting expectations and guiding them through necessary processes.

In a high-volume environment, you'll handle multiple cases while balancing diverse stakeholder interests. Using your expertise in local government operations and legislation, you'll analyse complex compliance matters, deliver concise reports, and contribute to improving council performance across

**About You**:
**Experienced in Compliance and Intervention Processes** - You have a strong background in managing formal intervention processes, compliance reviews, and regulatory assessments, ensuring councils meet their legislative and policy obligations.

**Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities** - You can assess complex compliance matters, identify key issues, and develop practical solutions to improve council performance.

**Excellent Communication and Stakeholder Engagement** - You have experience communicating with councils, government agencies, and external stakeholders, providing clear advice, managing expectations, and guiding them through compliance processes.

**Proven Ability to Manage High-Volume Workloads** - You thrive in fast-paced environments, balancing multiple cases while meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.

**Collaborative and Team-Oriented** - You work effectively within teams, sharing insights and contributing to consistent and well-informed intervention strategies.
