Liverpool City Council has an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified administration officer to join its Rates team. The successful applicant will provide support in all facets of Rates Administration and Debt Management.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

The primary responsibility of the role is to provide a high level of customer service in the rating and property information functions of Council in accordance with our operational and delivery plans.

The duties include the timely and accurate maintenance of all Council's rates, property & NAR databases, including processing of notices of transfer, Section 603 certificates and assisting in debt management and negotiating payment arrangements with ratepayers.

The successful applicant will also be responsible for providing high quality customer service and processing all inbound rating related enquiries, both verbally and written responses.

You will be reporting to the Rates Co-Ordinator and working within the broader Customer Experience team.
