The service will provide a Midwifery Birth Centre (MBC) for women within our catchment area providing excellence in continuity of care from pregnancy through to birth by the same midwife for each woman.
This model of care is the first of its kind offered within the Western Australia (WA) Health public sector.We are seeking to establish a pool of experienced, passionate and caring Endorsed Clinical Midwives to join our MBC team providing evidence-based and high-quality patient care as autonomous practitioners.
If you have current Australian Health Practitioner Registration Authority (AHPRA) registration as a Registered Midwife with 'Endorsement' to prescribe schedule 2, 3, 5, and 8 medications required for midwifery practice across pregnancy, labour, birth, and postnatal care, then we would like to hear from you.Our new MBC is located at BHS within a local community setting with dedicated and upgraded facilities for women accessing our services.
Services include antenatal, intrapartum/birthing, and postnatal.This is a Recruitment Pool for Fixed Term Part Time, Fixed Term Full Time, Permanent Full Time, and Permanent Part Time appointment(s).
