Responsibilities

• Work across a range of ambulatory and non-ambulatory maternity services, providing advanced knowledge, clinical support, leadership and supervision.
• Deliver care across Midwifery Antenatal Clinics, Antenatal Assessment Unit (AAU), Birthing Suite and the Postnatal ward.
• Collaborate in MAPS (Midwifery Antenatal and Postnatal service) and Midwifery Group Practice, including the Boodjari Yorgas service supporting Aboriginal maternal health and wellbeing.
• Contribute to a community focussed model of maternity care that addresses the needs of women and their families.
• Support diversity and encourage applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, people from culturally diverse backgrounds and people with disabilities.

Recruitment Pool and Eligibility

• This recruitment pool is for Permanent Full Time, Permanent Part Time, Fixed Term Full Time, and Fixed Term Part Time appointments.
• The pool will be open for 12 months. Appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur within EMHS facilities.
• Appointments may be made from this pool until 31/08/2026.
