**About the role**

As Practice Partner you will be working with our Child, Youth and Family services in rural, regional and outer Sydney. Having a thorough understanding of the child protection, family preservation and restoration, and the out of home care sector is integral to success in the role. Experience in domestic and family violence, mental health, and alcohol and other drugs will be highly regarded.

You are passionate about practice and seeing staff develop. You will work closely with Child, Youth and Family Operations leaders, and your Practice team colleagues, to identify staff practice needs and provide support that integrates broad contemporary practice and wisdom. You will develop and deliver resources, training, workshops, and provide consultations to support the delivery of great client experiences and better client outcomes.

**Duties**
- Support and resource Operations leaders to build their practice leadership.
- Develop and implement practice workshops and resources that reflect best practice, are aligned with legislative and regulatory requirements, and respond to the changing needs of clients and the operating environment.
- Share practice insights with the Practice team to celebrate good practice, identify integration opportunities and respond to practice gaps.
- Provide complex case consultations to support operations staff deliver best practice services.

**Skills and Requirements**
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and operational experience in child, youth and family services.
- A thorough understanding of the child protection, family preservation and restoration, and the out of home care sector is integral to success in the role. Experience in domestic and family violence, mental health, and alcohol and other drugs will be highly regarded.
- Demonstrated understanding of (and experience working with) contemporary theoretical and practice frameworks.
- Experience working with staff and Operations leaders to facilitate reflection, learning and best practice.
- Demonstrated ability to translate research and complex ideas into accessible practice resources/workshops.
- Experience evaluating current practice and finding practical solutions to build capability.
