**Your new company**

Join a small and engaging team within the Communication and Relations branch in a government department centrally located in Canberra. You will be working together to develop high-level written and visual content for both internal and external communications.

**Your new role**

Your storytelling ideas and ability to think outside the box will enable you to produce impactful written content for a range of audiences. You will bring your prior experience of government-based campaigns to strategically plan communication campaigns of small and medium size and produce all campaign products. You will be managing a range of differing prioritise as well as liaising with key stakeholders to ensure your campaigns are delivered on time.

Additional responsibilities will include:

- Developing and executing communication strategies for both internal and external engagement
- Develop internal and external marketing materials for the website, social media and newsletters
- Undertake editorial services and content creation on behalf of the department
- Evaluate and improve communication activities using data analytics
- Support the wider team as needed

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Demonstrated experience developing and implementing communications strategies for internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent written skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated understanding of a communications account management approach
- Willingness to work collaboratively both within the team and with stakeholders
