**VETERINARY REFERRAL HOSPITAL**
**CLIENT SERVICE OFFICER - FULL & PART TIME**
**Dandenong, VIC**

VRH is a purpose-built, world leading facility with modern sophisticated equipment and over 80 clinical and support staff, all focussed on providing world class patient care in a supportive, learning environment. A vacancy has arisen for an experienced Receptionist with a collaborative style and a real interest in seeing the business excel through the proper functioning of the Customer Service Team.

We have two integral and integrated parts to the business and the Client Service Team play a crucial role in enabling the Hospital to operate efficiently whilst offering superior client service.

On the Referral side, you will:

- Liaise with the consulting specialists' vets and our referring vets and owners.
- Organise consultations on behalf of the clinical team.
- Ensure files are complete and prepared in a timely manner.

As the first contact for our clients presenting to the Emergency Department you will:

- Engage directly with owners that call and/or present to the Hospital.
- Liaise with the clinical staff to ensure timely treatment of presenting patients.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced exciting environment with a strong team focus and attention to detail. Responding to covid has reinforced the importance of organisational agility and we are looking for someone who is proactive in identifying areas for improvement and being part of the solution. Previous experience in a multi-practice or multi-disciplinary hospital setting will be well-regarded.

**To be successful you will have the following skills and expertise**:

- Ability to work efficiently and independently and be committed to providing optimal client care.
- At least 1 year experience in a client-facing role.
- Exceptional organisation and communication skills; and
- Experience in the veterinary industry will be highly regarded.
