Act Resident Field Service Technician

**The Opportunity**:
Due to customer growth, our awesome team are after a Field Service Technician to join the fam to service our clients in the surrounding Canberra/ACT region.

The ACT Resident Field Service Technician is key in connecting our surrounding rural individual, business, civil and mining customers with the outstanding technical capability of our global OEM. In this role our Resident will work across the Canberra, ACT and surrounding regional areas delivering efficient servicing, diagnostics and repairs of our world class equipment as well as gold old fashioned 5-star customer focused service. As a Resident Field Service Technician, you'll be supported by us to truly run your role like your own business and build on the long-lasting relationships with our customers. We are after a passionate trade qualified Plant Mechanic with Field Service experience who currently resides in the area or who is happy to relocate.

As a Field Service Technician at Komatsu, you'll be supported not just professionally but personally too. Did you know Komatsu is an RTO? This means we are able to support your learning with a range of courses including trade upgrades and the best news is you're paid to do it. Our employees are encouraged to complete 2 courses per year. We also provide a car, phone and laptop/tablet and laundered uniforms for all our field service employees.

**Roster**: 5 days x 7.6 hr days + plenty of overtime available and OT rates

**Location**: ACT/Canberra Region (your start point for the day is from home, it is not necessary to drive to the branch every day)

**Pay Structure**:Hourly Rate + Allowances, penalties and any additional overtime.

**Your Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:

- Mobile Plant Mechanic Trade Certificate (Cert 3 Mobile Plant) complimented by your mechanical fitter qualification (HD Mechanic/ HD Fitter)
- Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) experience, preferably with Komatsu equipment, and field service exposure, including breakdowns and diagnostics, will also be highly regarded within the construction and mining sector.
- A minimum of C Class Licence
- Auto Electrical experience, qualifications, and diagnostic skills will be highly regarded.
- Working at heights qualification would be great but not crucial.
- Ability to follow required job scope & critical path.
- Safety focused mindset is paramount.
- Good understanding of computer systems and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- A proven high level of customer service
