**Customer Support Representative - Contract**
Take this job title with a pinch of salt, this is more of a sales support role. No cold calling or hard selling, essentially this is a customer service focused position.
We are looking for someone who can take the best part of Admin and sales and turn it into a customer support role. Are you an organised, time efficient and structured person wanting to make a role something of your own?
If you enjoy keeping stock registers, orders, dispatch registers and a team up to date while keeping that face-to-face interaction with clients and team members this could be the role for you. Working within a smaller internal team, they are friendly, approachable and all round a good team who like to go on regular team lunches to keep that good culture alive.
This is the kind of role that will help you gain good experience in the corporate environment and in the mining sector. This will set you on a good pathway to open doors for future career growth.
**Focus of the role**:
This role will be the primary contact between all clients, customers, and the operations team. Our client needs someone who is confident on the phone, and would be able to arrange purchases, bookings, distribution services, logistics and freight teams. Not only will you have general office duties you will also have face to face interactions with customers entering the facility to show them where to go and who to speak to.
**Ideally you will need**:
- Attend to incoming calls, queries and receive deliveries via Reception
- Escalate critical orders/enquires to the manufacturing and sales teams and keep customer informed of progress
- Actively promote/sell parts, product, and service to support Internal and Overseas Customers in timely alignment with their needs.
- Ensure customer quotes, and orders are processed and delivered in full and on time.
- Identify and follow up on enquiries to convert to sales
- Liaise with Freight Forwarders to ensure all export orders are shipped on time with accurate paperwork and certified documentation
- Support the sales team with day to day enquiries
- Liaise with Inventory Controllers to ensure appropriate stock levels and stocked items
- Liaise with all other overseas customers and assist in the preparation of the logistics and tracking of Export goods.
- Expedite all Customer orders and actions from backlog reports
**Job Type**: Contract
**Salary**: $32.00 - $35.00 per hour
