1300apprentice have a fantastic opportunity with a reputable host employer based in Queanbeyan who are looking for a heavy vehicle first year apprentice to join their dynamic team.

**About our host**

Semco Group is a full service heavy equipment sales and service organisation with locations in various areas throughout Australia.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Grease and oil changes
- Spark plug fitting
- Transmission servicing.

This is a workshop based role. Overtime offered on Saturdays - not compulsory.

The apprentice will be working on the following:

- push lawnmowers to heavy equipment
- construction equipment
- Caterpillar equipment, backhoes, dozers, earthmoving
- Loaders, excavators, skid steers, compactors, graders, scrapers, tractors and crawler machines.

Some brands include Takeuchi, Fiori, Toro, New Holland and Terex.

**Must have**:

- Driver's licence is preferred
- A genuine interest in the trade
- White Card before commencement.

**To be successful**:

- Have a passion for this trade and wants to be part of a growing business once completed apprenticeship
- Well presented
- Great work ethic and have good attention to detail
- Dedicated and wanting to learn
- Follows direction well.
- Applicants must be Australian citizens or permanent residents with full working rights to work in Australia._
