Job Title: Director of Data and AI Innovation
This senior leadership position will lead the development of cutting-edge data and AI solutions, driving business outcomes through innovative technology.
About the Role:
As the Director of Data and AI Innovation, you will be pivotal in architecting and leading the development of strategic data and AI solutions. Key responsibilities include:
Leading cross-functional teams of software engineers, data scientists, ML engineers, and UX designers to deliver high-impact projects
Ensuring measurable business value from AI and data engineering efforts, aligning with corporate strategy
Designing and implementing AI solutions that integrate seamlessly into domain-specific applications and systems for efficient deployment
Establishing best practices for software development, data engineering, and AI/ML model development
Implementing and optimizing automation for rapid and reliable deployments
Ensuring AI and data solutions comply with security and compliance requirements
Collaborating with product and platform leads for smooth integration of AI solutions and data infrastructure
Requirements:
To excel in this role, you will need:
Proven years of experience in AI/ML engineering, with a strong background in management and leadership
Expertise in designing and architecting complex scalable AI/ML systems and data pipelines
Strong software engineering background with expertise in programming languages like Python, Java, or C++
Experience with GenAI and agentic workflows, as well as cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
A blend of software engineering and machine learning experience
Commercial Skills And Formal Qualifications:
Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or C++
Experience with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn)
Knowledge of data engineering tools and technologies (Spark, Kafka, databases)
