Job Title: Director of Data and AI Innovation

This senior leadership position will lead the development of cutting-edge data and AI solutions, driving business outcomes through innovative technology.

About the Role:

As the Director of Data and AI Innovation, you will be pivotal in architecting and leading the development of strategic data and AI solutions. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading cross-functional teams of software engineers, data scientists, ML engineers, and UX designers to deliver high-impact projects
  • Ensuring measurable business value from AI and data engineering efforts, aligning with corporate strategy
  • Designing and implementing AI solutions that integrate seamlessly into domain-specific applications and systems for efficient deployment
  • Establishing best practices for software development, data engineering, and AI/ML model development
  • Implementing and optimizing automation for rapid and reliable deployments
  • Ensuring AI and data solutions comply with security and compliance requirements
  • Collaborating with product and platform leads for smooth integration of AI solutions and data infrastructure
Requirements:

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • Proven years of experience in AI/ML engineering, with a strong background in management and leadership
  • Expertise in designing and architecting complex scalable AI/ML systems and data pipelines
  • Strong software engineering background with expertise in programming languages like Python, Java, or C++
  • Experience with GenAI and agentic workflows, as well as cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • A blend of software engineering and machine learning experience

Commercial Skills And Formal Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or C++
  • Experience with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn)
  • Knowledge of data engineering tools and technologies (Spark, Kafka, databases)
