**CAPS Australia are Australia's leading independent compressed air and power **generation provider. Operating for over 40 years, with 10 branches across Australia, we work across a diverse range of industries.

Supported by some of the best technical professionals in the business, we are looking for someone to join our team as an Electrical and Control Systems Technical support officer. We understand this skilled occupation is an ANZSCO 312312 Electrical Engineering Technician. This is a specialist position that has extensive Controls and Centrifugal experience.

**What you'll do**:

- Provide specialist control, communications and electrical systems technical support.
- Review project technical scope, budget, delivery requirements and assess feasibility.
- Where required, assist the technical/project tendering team to review tenders and other technical documents.
- Conduct Initial feasibility assessment of opportunity in your areas of expertise.
- Interpret technical project specifications and recommend suitable technical solutions.
- Write technical and commercial exceptions to specifications protecting CAPS and the customer.
- Select appropriate equipment and customisations to meet the specifications and site conditions.
- Conduct basic technical preliminary design in support of accurate costings and information for customers.

**What we're looking for**:

- Extensive experience in Key Account management, ideally within the air and power generation field or similar.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills to foster positive partnerships with clients.
- 10+ years previous experience within Controls and the Centrifugal product range.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to inform strategic decisions.
- Organised and detail-oriented, able to handle multiple priorities with finesse.
