About the Role

Step into a pivotal finance leadership role with direct CEO influence, reporting directly to the SCEE Electrical CEO, you'll lead our finance function and deliver high-quality insights, systems, and processes that drive strategic decisions and operational excellence. This is a rare opportunity to take on a senior leadership role with direct influence on company growth and performance.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the finance function to deliver accurate and timely financial close, reporting, and performance analysis.
  • Oversee cash flow forecasting, treasury, debtor management, and project bonding requirements.
  • Manage budgeting and forecasting processes in line with strategic goals.
  • Review and challenge project financial summaries, cost-to-complete forecasts, and reconciliations.
  • Maintain oversight of payroll approvals, controls, and reporting accuracy.
  • Drive process and system improvements to increase efficiency and reduce risk.
  • Ensure compliance with all tax, audit, and statutory obligations.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering capability and collaboration.

What You Bring
  • CPA or CA qualification (essential).
  • Proven senior finance leadership experience, ideally in construction, engineering, or resources.
  • Strong technical expertise in accounting standards, compliance, and reporting.
  • Track record in cash flow management, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Experience overseeing payroll, tax compliance, and audit coordination.
  • Exceptional leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel.
