**THE ROLE**

Origin's strategy is to lead the transition to net zero through clean energy and customer solutions. Origin Zero has been setup with the objective of achieving this with a focus on large businesses.

The newly formed business unit will focus on partnering with our c. 15,000 large businesses to navigate the transition to a de-carbonised energy system. Origin Zero aims to curate propositions that span categories such as: virtual power plant services, solar & storage, e-mobility, energy efficiency, advisory and carbon management as well as supplying a wide range of energy supply options from increasingly renewable sources.

Reporting to the Marketing and Digital manager, the Marketing Specialist role is a crucial step in the marketing of Origin Zero, helping bring the brand to life for our teams, customers, and community. There'll be a level of autonomy whilst working on a diverse range of projects to support a sustainable energy future. We value someone with attention to detail who can deliver great results on time.

Some of the key responsibilities of this role are:

- Develop, implement, and track marketing campaigns and projects to support business and product development teams through coordination with cross functional teams.
- Write, proofread, and edit creative and product content across different mediums.
- Analyse and report on the performance and efficiency of campaigns and content.
- Develop and create digital and physical marketing materials with our digital designer, such as sales and product collateral, eDMs, customer support material, signage and ensure brand guidelines are met.
- Work with external agencies and vendors to execute marketing programs.
- Collect insights through customer & channel engagement to improve engagement and customer satisfaction.

**IS THIS YOU?**

To be considered for this opportunity, you will have great writing skills, love developing content and campaigns for diverse audiences, excellent stakeholder management skills, a proven track record of multi-tasking, and be confident and proactive in your approach. You will ideally have a relevant degree qualification or can point to relevant experience.

You have or can demonstrate:

- Inter-personal skills, which are considered extremely important to this role. This would include experience in dealing with internal departments as well as the ability to deal with external stakeholders and customers.
- 2-5 years' experience in customer engagement, marketing, user experience, PR and/or social content.
- Content and channel marketing management and administration
- Strong prioritisation, organisation and project management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (marketing comms, social, external communications).
- Content creation & communication design of digital and physical collateral
- Strong experience in engaging with customers.
- Understanding of customer journey tools and processes
- Experience with customer engagement systems, tools and processes including CMS and CRM.
- Channels & tools used to engage customers
