Diamond Valley Pork (DVP) is a market leading pork processor and wholesaler. Our state-of-the-art fully integrated processing plant has a capacity to process in excess of 2,500 pigs per day and we supply products and services to both export and domestic markets.

Part of the JBS Australia group of companies, we are an expanding business with a strong focus on in-house training and developing the skills of our 250+ strong workforce.

**About the Role**
- Effectively manage relationships with managers and supervisors to develop, maintain and implement training programs and initiatives within their departments
- Monitor employee training requirements against the Training Plan
- Action various data entry requirements including updating individual training records
- Prepare training certificates and training booklets/materials
- Schedule and organise internal and external training courses
- Liaise, communicate and build rapport with all internal and external stakeholders (e.g. AAC, RTO's)
- Identify high performers and research and/or arrange training to further develop their skills
- Support and coach site leaders to deliver effective on-the-job learning and development of their employees
- Develop and maintain learning resources and materials
- Identify potential Trainees for formal qualification training and optimise enrolment timeframes for funding purposes
- Assist in creating and updating work instructions
- Provide training reports, monitoring and rectifying gaps, particularly for licences, first aiders and compliance requirements
- Ensure annual objectives are regularly reviewed and met

**About You**
- Well-developed leadership skills
- Working knowledge of WH&S, QA and training and assessment processes
- Knowledge of company policies and how they relate to site learning and training requirements
- High level communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Effective time management skills
- A genuine passion for L&D
- High level computer skills
- Formal qualifications in training and assessment, ideal but not required (e.g. Cert IV TAE)
- Previous experience in a production environment, ideal but not required
- Current drivers' licence
