This role will be offered on permanent full-time basis with flexible hybrid working arrangements to be agreed.The role will be working on Mechanical Warranty Insurance, Guaranteed Asset Protection Insurance, Loan Termination Insurance and Consumer Credit Insurance.As the Senior Claims Consultant you will have exposure to all Motor and Warranty lines and you'll be looking to solidify your career within our Global Brand.How you'll make an impactYou will add value to Gallagher Bassett across the following :Inbound calls and responding to general enquiriesManage a portfolio of Motor and Warranty claims end to endComplex claims and managing the full IDR processInterpret Motor and Warranty policy wordings and apply accuratelyLiaise with various third-party providersSettle claims within client service instructions, company guidelines and delegated authorityAttend client meetings where applicableAchieve monthly KPI's as designated by managementComply with legislation such as the General Insurance Code of Practice and other relevant legislation / regulations and policy requirementsResolve complaints in accordance with company guidelinesIdentify potential fraud / recovery indicators for claims where applicablePayment approval responsibilitiesTrain and mentor claims consultants within the teamHelp with QA requirements including regular file audits of colleaguesAbout youWe're interested in hearing from people who possess :At least 5 years of Claims experience in Motor or Property claimsIndustry specific ANZIIF qualifications (desirable)Focused on customer / client outcomesStrong Negotiation skillsExcellent customer service skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsPC literate – Database and Microsoft OfficeTime management and organisational skillsA team player that has the ability to coach and mentor fellow peersIf you live our values and demonstrate the people capabilities, we can not only offer you great career opportunities, but on a day-to-day basis you'll experience the following :Flexible work arrangements – including WFHPaid Parental LeaveBirthday LeaveExcellent Working Environment – friendly, flexible and supportive working environment which is built around great team support and rewarding opportunitiesExciting career – as our Company grows, so do the opportunities for our peopleOpportunities for ongoing education and career developmentService recognition awardsEmployee assistance program for yourself and immediate family membersA brief overview on GBGallagher Bassett is Australia's largest Third-Party Administrator (TPA).
