**Operations at THE ICONIC**
THE ICONIC Operations team is the heart of our business, busy connecting our products to our customers in the most efficient way. They are spread across our large Fulfilment Centre, HQ and Production Hub and our expertise covers Inventory, Inbound, Outbound and Delivery Experience.
Our energetic Inventory team tracks our stock to website levels, troubleshoot, consolidate packages and manage stock replenishment
**A bit about the role **
As the Inventory Supervisor you will be leading and managing the inventory team and managing the inventory tracking system to record deliveries, shipments and stock levels as well as evaluating deliveries, shipments and product levels to improve inventory control procedures.
**What you will do**
- Drive the safety culture in the department, ensuring the team is trained in their role, and are performing the role effectively and providing a safe working environment.
- Responsible for ensuring the Team Leaders run engaging and safety-driven toolboxes.
- Lead with the company's best interests in mind, reporting any incidents or near misses.
- A confident and capable leader, taking full responsibility for leading and mentoring my team.
- Competent in managing any performance related conversations and can handle difficult situations which may require confidentiality and thoroughness in a timely manner.
- Act as a planner and can interpret dashboards and systems to effectively manage staffing levels and ensure productivity targets are met.
- Successfully maintain the relationship with our agency providers to ensure we have trained agency labour available.
- Maintain positive working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Be the expert of the inventory department's functions and responsibilities and always looking to improve the area by implementing changes in processes and procedures.
- Passionate about my people and their development, working with key stakeholders to ensure they are provided with opportunities to learn and grow.
- Responsible for ensuring the team hit their deadlines and SLA metrics and the team leaders report accurately on KPI and SLA metrics.
- Act as a role model, trusted and respected by team members and leaders alike.
- Be the goal setter and can clearly understand the company's vision and communicate this with my team.
**What we are looking for**
- Strong leadership experience from working in warehousing environments.
- A confident multi-tasker and enjoy working in a fast paced warehouse environment
- Ability to have difficult conversations and have ample amount of experience managing conflict resolution.
- Exceptional written, verbal and visual communication skills.
- Experience leading large and diverse teams.
- Trustworthy and take accountability for my actions as well as my team's actions.
- Extremely reliable and able to be flexible with time as per business needs.
- Actively deliver and accept feedback.
- Have a safety-first mentality, putting the health and wellbeing of the team members first.
