Job Title: Procurement and Inventory Manager

The Procurement and Inventory Manager plays a pivotal role within our organization, responsible for ensuring the efficient execution of aircraft stores procedures. Based in Sydney NSW, this individual will oversee the receipt, issue, storage, and dispatch of aircraft parts, tools, and non-aircraft items.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock management and minimize stockouts or overstocking.\
  • Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to meet business needs.\
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of inventory management and procurement processes.\
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including CASA Regulations, and maintain the cleanliness and security of the Store.\
  • Monitor shelf life items and services provided in store.\
  • Conduct regular stock takes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.\
  • Implement cost-effective measures to optimize storage space and reduce waste.\
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and propose innovative solutions.\
  • Collaborate with supervisors to address any operational issues and ensure safety protocols are met.\
  • Perform other tasks as specified by the supervisor to support the smooth operation of the team.\

    • Strong knowledge of aircraft components is advantageous.\
    • Proficiency in Microsoft applications and basic computer skills are essential.\
    • A current driver's license is mandatory.\
    • Ability to obtain required certifications, including an ASIC card, Air Side Driver's license, Dangerous Goods License, and Fork Lift License.\
