Warehouse Operations Associate

The Warehouse Operations Associate is a vital role within our organization. This position involves the receipt, storage, handling, packaging and shipping of inventory at a project warehouse facility.

  • This position requires strong organizational skills to manage and control inventory accounts including serviceable, repairable, quarantine and disposal accounts in accordance with policy and procedures;
  • Gaining knowledge and experience in all aspects of inventory management;
  • Assisting multiple stakeholders, both internal and external.
Requirements/Qualifications
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in supply chain roles and functions;
  • Forklift license preferred, but not essential;
  • Desire to gain in-depth knowledge and experience with computerised inventory management systems and methodologies;
  • Demonstrates strong communication skills, enabling open and effective communication among stakeholders;
  • Competent in the use of PC, MS Windows and MS Office suite;
  • Must be an Australian citizen to meet defence security requirements, and have the ability to obtain and maintain a NV1 security clearance.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Process inventory management system transactions to support project activities as required;
  • Manage inventory accounts including serviceable, repairable, quarantine and disposal accounts in accordance with Boeing and Defence policy and procedures;
  • Experience with asset tracking and inventory control;
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers;
  • Performing other tasks as assigned by supervisor or management team.
