About The Role
As part of the Tony White Group,Illawarra Toyotais currently seeking an experienced and customer-focusedAutomotive Parts Interpreterto join our dynamic parts team.
In this fast-paced role, you'll be responsible for identifying, sourcing, and supplying parts for both internal workshop requirements and external trade and retail customers.
This is a unique opportunity for someone with a passion for motor vehicles to build a career with our group.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately and efficiently interpreting the parts and accessories required by retail, trade, and internal customers
Quoting, sourcing, and ordering parts in line with customer and workshop needs
Using manufacturer catalogues and electronic systems to identify correct parts
Maintaining accurate stock records and assisting with inventory management
Providing exceptional customer service at the counter, over the phone, and via email
Collaborating effectively with service, sales, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth workflow and communication
Skills And Requirements
Previous experience in dealership parts operations (desirable but not essential)
Previous experience as an automotive parts interpreter (dealership or aftermarket)
Sound knowledge of vehicle makes, models, and parts systems
Proficient with electronic parts catalogues and dealer management systems
Strong communication, time management, and customer service skills
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
A current driver's licence
Forklift Licence (desirable but not essential)
