About the Role

Responsibilities

We have an exciting opportunity for experienced and qualified Auto Electricians to join our AMA Group Solutions or Capital S.M.A.R.T Repairs teams. The role involves ensuring vehicles are returned to their pre-accident condition through quality workmanship. This is a full-time position available in various areas of Wollongong.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform inspections and complete damage reports following company procedures.
  • Conduct mechanic diagnosis, repairs, and replacements as required.
  • Repair and refurbish recycled parts to meet quality standards.
  • Ensure vehicles and components are safe before refitting or supply.
  • Perform minor repairs as per Job Sheet upon request.
  • Document broken parts or additional repairs and submit to Estimator.
  • Handle all vehicles with care and attention.
  • Ensure work complies with AMA's QA standards and sign the QA Sheet to confirm standards are met.

Salary ranges:

  • Junior-Mid experienced tradespeople: $60,000 - $80,000
  • Mid-Senior tradespeople: $80,000 - $100,000
