**Your new role**
- Monitor, review and report on significant operational risks, such as system data security, user access and confidentiality, including recommend mitigation strategies.
- Ensure the team upholds key technology service delivery practices, including Incident, Change, and Problem Management, as an escalation point for technology issues.
- In collaboration with customers, partners and suppliers, plan and oversee the implementation of new services, establish operational acceptance criteria, and manage the transition of new technologies and platforms into production operations, ensuring technology versus business responsibilities are well understood.
- Manage team resource allocation, training, objective setting, performance appraisals, and career development, while promoting a culture of innovation, continuous process improvement, collaboration and information sharing.
- Establish, maintain and monitor supplier relationships, ensure contractual obligations are met via the operational monitoring of supplier service delivery. Plan and maintain team participation in supplier workshops/events/training.
- Foster strong relationships with a range of stakeholders to ensure coordination, collaboration and linking of services to meet business needs, from an operational lens as well as a strategic partnership.
- Work effectively across multidisciplinary teams and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Develop agile solutions in response to changes in environment or circumstance.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Proven expertise in university systems and synchronous user experiences is highly desired.
- Demonstrated ability to lead IT projects and teams, including operation and project planning, enhancing service delivery and development, resource deployment, cost estimation, controlling and reporting.
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills including conflict resolution skills and the ability to foster positive working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Highly developed skills in collecting and analysing requirements and ability to use this information to design, develop and implement system enhancements and procedures
- Demonstrated knowledge of IT frameworks, methodologies and standards such as Project Management, System Development Life Cycle, ITIL, XaaS, and Information Security.
- Demonstrated commitment to cultural diversity and a working knowledge of equity and WHS principles in the workplace.
