Aviation Business Technology Manager

What you'll contribute to;
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Senior Business Technology Manager to join the Technology team in a full-time capacity.
Reporting to the General Manager Technology; the successful applicant will join a team of dedicated professionals and provide vertical coverage, being accountable for the entire life cycle of Technology – the Plan/Build/Run for their assigned business area.

How will you make an impact?
You will lead the strategic planning and roadmap development for operational aviation technology initiatives, managing demand and ensuring alignment with operational and safety priorities.
You'll oversee enterprise architecture across critical systems, act as the key escalation point, and be accountable for the total cost of ownership (TCO) of your technology portfolio.
This includes delivering targets, driving project execution, and identifying opportunities for optimisation and operational efficiencies.

You will own stakeholder relationships across aviation operations, providing insights and support to business strategies, while working seamlessly with Technology SME functions to ensure continuous improvement and innovation within QAL Technology.

Skills, Experience, and knowledge to perform the role

Minimum 10 years' experience in IT teams, with focus in business engagement and project management disciplines
Experience working with an Aviation, Critical Infrastructure, transportation or Energy related industry
