Casual Events Chef – The Fresh Collective NSWThe Fresh Collective is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Events Chef to join our esteemed Catering Brigade.

This casual position will be based at various functions and events held at corporate offices in Sydney CBD, Arts Gallery NSW, Australian Museum andMuseum of Contemporary Art.24 hours per weekShifts available on weekdays & weekendsDemonstrate your culinary talents, passion and flair for an award-winning catererCreate dishes for some of Sydney's most exclusive eventsA fun and motivated team environmentBe part of a growing hospitality groupThe RoleBased on site at various locations around Sydney CBD, this position is responsible for the final preparation and plating of dishes for functions and events.
This position is perfect for chefs with excellent attention to detail and a creative flair
Work on-site in a range of premium venues across Sydney CBDOversee the accurate and consistent preparation and presentation of all dishes at functions and eventsOversee a team of junior chefsWork closely with the Executive Chef to deliver high-quality menusWork closely with Event Managers and Function Supervisors to meet all client needsCheck off all food and equipment on arrival to site, and before leaving siteAbout YouCertificate III in Commercial Cookery4 years'+ experience in a 5-star hotel, large-scale restaurant or catering companyPassionate about producing quality dishesDriven to achieve the highest standards in an efficient mannerStrong time management and planning skillsAble to effectively manage and motivate a team of chefsExcellent attention to detailAbility to follow standard recipesValid working rights in AustraliaAbout The Fresh CollectiveThe Fresh Collective is a Sydney based hospitality group also operating in Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne and Perth, delivering exceptional experiences and premium food and beverage events.
