About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and talented chefs who strives in exceeding guests expectations and wants to join a team that priorities diversity, inclusion in a professional and fun working environment

As a Commis Chef, you will beresponsible to prepare consistent , high quality food products in line with Hyatt Standards.

Some of the responsibilities include

- Assisting in preparation of ingredients
- Follow recipes and ensure consistency in food preparation for large-scale banquet events.
- To maintain the assigned station / section in a clean and orderly manner at all times.
- Cook and assemble dishes under the supervision of senior chefs.

Qualifications

A successful candidate will have:

- Minimum 1 years work experience
- Experience in luxury international brands, highly regarded
- Qualification in Commercial Cookery
- Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and occupational health and safety standards will be essential.
- A true desire to exceed guest expectations in a fast paced customer service environment
