Senior Web Development Expert
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Web Development Expert to lead our team in shaping the technical roadmap and architecture for the frontend powering key applications.
This role entails defining an architecture that can evolve how we store media, video, audio, and documents into a generalised asset and file store. The successful candidate will propose innovative approaches and solutions to future-proof our product decision platforms and deliver on business outcomes.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with core frameworks in our stack - JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React, and TypeScript. They should be firmly grounded in computer science and engineering fundamentals including concurrency, multithreading, data structures, solution design, architecture, and design patterns.
Key responsibilities include designing and implementing intricate system aspects, guiding major project implementation, providing guidance and mentorship to other engineers, and facilitating cross-team initiatives that set a higher standard for reliability, velocity, and security.
Requirements:
Proven experience working with frontend frameworks and technologies.
Strong understanding of computer science and engineering fundamentals.
Passion for great UX, storytelling, and collaboration.
Cross-browser knowledge and ability to drive changes across different browsers, devices, and modalities.
Familiarity with building experiences on the back of a design system.
Experience shipping impactful products or changes.
Consideration of performance in every aspect of product development.
