We deliver services such as childcare, waste collection, parks maintenance, libraries, community facilities, and aquatic centres to over 380,000 residents.DescriptionThe Technical Specialist Data Support plays a pivotal role in managing, analyzing, and presenting library data to ensure accuracy and support planning and service development.Duties Will Include But Not Be Limited ToCollect, validate, and analyze data from various sources to ensure accuracy and identify trends.Develop and maintain dashboards and visuals to share insights, collaborating with library leaders.Implement automated workflows and refine data processes.Ensure compliance with privacy, security, and organizational policies.Deliver data literacy training and create resources for staff.For a full list of duties, review the position description.You will haveDegree or relevant qualification in Data Management, Library & Information Science, Business Analytics, or related field.Working with Children Check.2-3 years' experience in data management, analysis, and reporting.Advanced skills in Excel, Power BI, or similar tools.Strong attention to detail, data accuracy, and quality control.Ability to create dashboards, reports, and visualizations.Experience in analyzing data, identifying trends, and supporting strategic decisions.Experience in delivering training and developing manuals.Knowledge of data privacy regulations and best practices.Excellent communication skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.The salary starts at $82,701 (Grade F, Step 1) + 12% super.
