We are currently partnering with a global FMCG business recruiting for a permanent full-time and contract Microbiologist. Your new company is a sustainability leader specializing in food, condiments, ice cream, cleaning agents' products, and more.

We are currently partnering with a global FMCG business recruiting for a permanent full-time and contract Microbiologist. Your new company is a sustainability leader specializing in food, condiments, ice cream, cleaning agents' products, and more.

**Responsibilities will include the following**:

- Microbiological testing of raw materials and finished products
- Release raw material in SAP
- Release of finished products in SAP
- Aligning laboratory test methods
- Preparation of dust papers and Galley samplers for enzyme production
- Enzyme analysis of dust papers, ring tests and finished products
- Calibrations of quality instruments
- Chemical testing of raw materials, finished products and _complaint samples _
- _Chemical testing of effluent water and storm water when required_

**Skills, Qualifications and Experience**:

- Tertiary qualifications in Chemistry or Microbiology
- Ideally 1 to 2 years' experience working in Quality and/or in Analytical laboratory
- Experience in materials handling, manufacturing processes (within 12 months)
- An understanding of Total Quality and GMP principles (within 12 months)
- Good communications skills, written and verbal
- Good organisational skills
