Plympton Park Day Night Surgery is an expanding and progressive GP-owned practice that is open 6 days a week providing high quality community-based healthcare services to the Plympton Park and surrounding metropolitan area.

We are seeking experienced Medical Receptionists who are enthusiastic, show initiative, hard-working, organised and flexible. Previous experience in medical rooms or a hospital environment is essential.
- Front-line medical administrative service in a professional, caring and efficient manner
- greetings patients in person and over the phone.
- Experience with Best Practice will be highly regarded
- Ability to work across a 7 day rotating roster is essential
- Understanding of patient billing, inc. Workcover claims, Medicare item numbers and DVA billing
- Records Management & data entry
- General administrative duties as required.

Essential Criteria for this job role.
- Previous experience in medical rooms or hospital environment
- Current National Police Clearance
- Current Working With Children Clearance
- Ability to work across a 6 day rotating roster is essential
- Professional, friendly, confident, and courteous manner
- High work ethic and flexibility with work hours
- Ability to work under pressure, multi-task, and prioritise
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
- High level of computer literacy
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a diverse team and independently
- High-level attention to detail.
- Enthusiasm, willingness, and ability to learn and retain information
- Well-developed interpersonal skills including the ability to liaise effectively with people from diverse social and cultural backgrounds.
