As we continue to secure projects across NSW, Alfabs enters a growth phase where we are seeking trade qualified and experienced Painter/Blasters to join our Site Services division.We are offering both Permanent and Casual roles at our Sydney and Newcastle locations.Reporting to our Site Superintendent (Paint) you will have the opportunity to be part of a true crew, working together to set industry standards.Skills & Experience:Relevant trade qualifications or certifications in surface preparation and painting.Perform abrasive blasting (grit/sand blasting) to clean and prepare metal surfaces in accordance with industry standards.Apply industrial coatings, primers, and protective paints using airless, conventional spray equipment, brush, and rollerRead and interpret job specifications and coating system requirements.Ensure surface preparation and coating applications meet quality assurance and safety standardsStrong team player, proactive and reliableExceptional work ethic and Self- MotivatedStrong communication and interpersonal skillsThe ability to work overtime to assist with achieving company goalsEncourage a culture of continuous improvementAbility to pass pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testingOther desirable skills/experience:Rail Industry Worker TrainingMulti Skilled and ticketedHigh-risk ticketsOrder 43 MedicalMining specific inductionsWhat we offer:Competitive Hourly RatesBe at the forefront of innovative projects that can be in various environments.A supportive team within a company who truly values their employeesEmployee recognition programsCareer development opportunities within a reputable organisationIf you're looking to take the next step in your career and join an industry leader with exciting projects ahead, Alfabs could be the perfect place for you
