Are you an experienced Industrial Painter Blaster based in Sydney with a strong work ethic and positive attitude? Our client is seeking motivated Sydney locals to join their team for high-profile marine projects including Garden Island, Sydney. As an Industrial Painter Blaster, you'll be part of a skilled Sydney-based team working on large-scale marine projects, responsible for ensuring safety, precision, and quality in all aspects of your work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mechanical preparation and abrasive blasting of corroded surfaces
  • Surface preparation using water blasting, sandblasting and hand tools
  • Application of coatings using spray, brush, and roller techniques
  • Ensuring all work complies with project specifications and meets quality standards
  • Working collaboratively within a team environment
  • Always maintaining a high level of safety awareness

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant industrial painting and blasting experience
  • White Card (Construction Induction)
  • Confined Space (desirable)
  • Working at Heights (desirable)
  • EWP (desirable)
  • Certificate III in Surface Preparation and Coating Application (desirable)
  • Ability to pass drug and alcohol testing
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a National Police Clearance
