**About the role and where you will be working**:
The Procurement and Contract Manager provides high quality management and negotiation of goods and services to achieve the best value for operational effectiveness.
This role is located at our central office in Rivervale and offers hybrid WFH options.
**We'll also be asking you to:
- **
- Develop, implement and ensure that purchasing policies and procedures are appropriate for the service areas and are understood and effective
- To develop and maintain a purchasing system that ensures a reliable and easy to use process to source agreed goods and services for agreed catalogues, as well as non-catalogue items
- Develop and maintain a detailed contracts database ensuring contract compliance, including, but not limited to supplier performance, KPI achievement and management of contract variations
- To actively manage the performance of key suppliers and, where necessary, assist in dispute resolution
- Undertake analysis and investigation to identify opportunities for improvements in sourced goods and services
- To provide procurement support for services areas in formal and appropriate selection processes as required
- Effectively manage compliance requirements for your team, ensuring documentation is up to date and uploaded to ESS in a timely matter
- This role will develop and maintain a procurement strategy
**To be considered for this role, you'll need**:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in similar role in a large and complex service delivery organisation
- Highly developed negotiation skills in regard to procurement while maintaining balanced vendor relationships.
- Demonstrated analytical ability
- Strong organisational and time management skills and the ability to prioritise responsibilities and multi-task
- Experience within the aged care, home care, retirement living and social housing industries preferred.
