Your day to day
As a Media Payables Officer, you will report into the Media Payables Manager and be a member of a large accounts payables team consisting of 22 people. Your day-to-day operations sit within a smaller sub-team of 4-6 people, with a Supervisor providing training, guidance and support.
You will be relied upon by the trading community to provide guidance with respect to finance practice and be responsible for ensuring all work is carried out in a compliant manner.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Responsibility for reconciliations and payments of specific media types, i.e. Television, Magazines, Digital, etc.
- Matching, validating and reconciling media supplier invoices
- Regular bi-weekly chasing of outstanding account queries, and prompt turnaround and processing of answered queries.
- Timely processing of supplier invoices for payment
- Promptly and courteously resolving all media supplier queries with respect to payments
- Ensuring all reconciliations and the payment of media creditors are on time and in accordance with monthly timetable deadlines.
- If required, assisting with month-end close-off, payment runs and general reporting
