**Role Description/Criteria**

**About the College**

As a Catholic School Thomas Carr College aims to educate our students with an appreciation of the spiritual as well as the intellectual and physical aspects of their lives. We aim to work with our parents to produce young people of faith and character. We are a Catholic co-educational College in Tarneit, west of Melbourne with 1200 students.

**About the role**

Library Team Members report to the Library Team Leader and work in collaboration with the Library Team Leader and teachers to support the Thomas Carr Model of Instructional Practice with a focus on enhancing our approach to learning and teaching across the following key areas:

- Wider Reading Programs and Literacy resources
- Digital literacy including facilitating the effective use of the College's learning management system and other digital platforms
- Building staff capacity in the use of the digital platforms across the College

Ideally this role will be a Teacher-Librarian, Librarian or Teacher with experience in this area of education and with experience in the running of Wider Reading, Research and literacy programs and the use of school-based learning management systems. This role will provide a broad range of digital, print, electronic and audio-visual resources to support the learning outcomes of students and the effective teaching by staff.
