**More about what you'll do**

Your role is pivotal to the success of our yearly sales and retention sales targets. You are empowered as the representative of the Contracts Team, to draw on your own **contract, supply chain and/or sales experience** to work autonomously and accurately.

Reporting to the Manager, Bids and Contracts, your key responsibilities include:

- Review and assess all incoming agreements requested to identify commercial and contractual risk.
- Provide clause amendments in line with the Company Commercial Policy and Clause Library.
- Identify and draft contract departures for review by the commercial analyst
- Communicate departures succinctly for the sales lead to negotiate with the customer.
- Lead and complete the contract drafting process for new customer agreements, amendments, addendums, NDAs and our own agreement templates.
- Support the review and completion of KPI reporting for existing customer contracts.
- Identify changes required to our Clause Library, Agreement templates and Commercial Policy in line with direction from within the Commercial team and Manager of Bids and Contracts.

**More about you**

The ideal applicant we are looking for understands the sales cycle, the supply chain and fulfilment processes of consumable goods used in businesses. Experience with contracts with high-profile customers in the corporate and Government sectors is highly desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to present information clearly.
- Well-organised, enthusiastic, self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously.
- Ability to think commercially and balance legal risks across each customer risk profile.
- Ability to cope with competing deadlines and multiple contracts for review and execution.
- Open to new ideas, collaborating with sales people and able to contribute to team goals.

Key skills & competencies:

- Experienced contract administrator, procurement specialist or Government sales professional in the Business-to-Business sector (FMCG, business supplies, hardware supplies, etc purchased for workplaces)
- Exposure to Government and large Corporation customer contracts, awareness of negotiations across sales, procurement and legal professionals.
- Advanced MS Office skills.
